Vinous

A deep, powerful wine, the 2015 Grand Corbin shows the more masculine side of Saint-Émilion. Powerful tannins wrap around a core of intense fruit, with melted road tar, gravel, graphite, cured meat and herb overtones that lend considerable nuance to the wine's super-distinctive profile. A note of white pepper confers energy, but the tannins remain a bit overpowering at this stage. Hubert de Boüard consults. Tasted two times.
