Côtes de Provence rosé Château de Berne AOC 75 cl
200 BC: The Berne estate is located on the Aurelian route which connects Italy and Spain. It allowed the transport of wine, so the roots of our vines are as far away as those of our ancestors. XI °: Order of the Cistercians - The Count of Toulouse, Raymond V, donated the estate to Saint Bernard, founder of the order of the Cistercians. The monks settled there and made the land grow. XVIII °: The renaissance of the Château de Berne - When the Estellon family took possession of the site from the middle of the 18th century, the estate was restored with the reconstruction of houses, the planting of new plots and, above all, of Berne, as a place of celebration, retreat and hospitality. XX °: The rise of the domain - In 1960, Mme Smeets, a renowned Parisian publicist, restored the estate. She had a sure taste and this resurrection was a small miracle. In 1985, an Englishman, Bill Muddyman, bought and replanted 32 hectares, modernized the winemaking facilities and rebuilt the cellar. XXI °: In 2007, a British businessman, in love with Provence, bought the domain of Berne. Inspired by the wine routes of South Africa, he wishes to develop a wine tourism of character in different fields.
