The 2015 Pierre 1er (formerly La Croix Figeac) is intense and immediate, but also lacking in depth, complexity or nuance. The intensely extracted style with the accompanying hard/green tannins and metallic undertones don't make for an especially attractive wine.

Il propose un très joli nez, à la fois fruité (soupe à la cerise, épicée de cannelle) et floral. On trouve beaucoup de richesse en bouche, du volume, et surtout de la finesse tannique. Grand séducteur.
