The Couhins 2018 Blanc comes bounding out of the glass with vibrant pineapple, guava and passion fruit scents plus nuances of lemon drops, wild thyme and crushed rocks. Medium-bodied, it gives a good intensity of citrus and tropical fruit with a lively backbone and herbal lift on the finish.

Crisp citrus and rosemary flavours are supported by an attractive texture, and aromatics that show there was clear freshness in the Sauvignon Blancs this year - the picking dates were well chosen. There's not as much kick as in some vintages, but this is juicy and enjoyable.
