Wine Advocate 86 / 100 par Robert Parker le 29/04/2005 A narrowly constructed effort with an abundance of firm tannin as well as herbaceous, damp earthy notes, and notions of red and black currant fruit, the 2002 possesses decent acidity and an austere personality. Drink it over the next decade.
Wine Spectator 88 / 100 par James Suckling le 31/03/2005 Blackberry and chocolate with hints of toasted oak. Medium-bodied, with good tannins and a medium, fruity finish. Not quite as impressive as the 2001, but well done. Best after 2007. 12,000 cases made.
Wine Advocate 86-88 / 100 par Robert Parker le 30/10/2003 Medium-bodied and pleasant as opposed to muscular and rustic, this is a lighter-styled, but essentially clipped version of Cantenac Brown. It does not appear to possess the necessary ingredients to add weight and expand in texture to merit a score in the high eighties. We’ll see. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2014
La Revue du Vin de France 3 / 20 le 30/06/2003 Vin épicé, de belle attaque, chair harmonieuse et assez complexe aromatiquement Mais l'ensemble manque d'ampleur et les tanins finissent légèrement secs.
