Wine Jaune du Jura - Château Chalon 2008 - Fruitière Winemaker of Voiteur
Placed between Switzerland and neighboring Burgundy, the vineyard or "Revermont" designates a strip of land 80 kilometers long that crosses the Jura from North to South, from Salins les Bains to Saint Amour. A hundred communes and two hundred domains shape the landscape of this wine-growing Jura situated between the plain Bressane to the west and the first Jurassian foothills in the East. The Jurassian vineyard has a great diversity of terroir, it is composed of four geographical appellations: Côtes du Jura, Etoile, Château-Chalon and Arbois. La Voile de Voiteur, created at the end of the fifties, brings together some sixty vine growers for a total area of ??80 ha.
