Togouchi Premium 40 ° Blended Whiskey - Chugoku Jozo
The company Chugoku Jozo is mainly oriented towards the production of sake, from its creation in 1918 until the 2000s. Various sakes are launched on the Japanese market and leads the distillery to begin a program of modernization of its tools in the 1990s. With the change of millennium and the end of its industrial investment program, the distillery launches its range of Togouchi whiskey. Oriented to the Japanese market, the Togouchi whiskey benefits from an unusual aging: indeed, the distillery uses a double aging; first in a disused railway tunnel where the temperature is maintained throughout the year at 15 ° and then a more traditional aging in its factory with a controlled temperature but slightly higher. Togouchi whiskey is now on the European market.
