St André de Figuieres - Cuvée Magali - Côtes de Provence rosé 2017
The winemaker roots of Combard, first grown in Burgundy, in the 70s, Alain Combard develops with his friend and partner, Michel Laroche, which will quickly become one of the most beautiful houses in Chablis. Aviator, navigator and insatiable explorer, he left in 1992 in search of a new wine terroir still little recognized: Provence. A year later, he discovered the 18 hectares of Domaine Saint André de Figuière where he decided to settle down with a strong conviction: the rosé de Provence deserves to be the equal of a big white. Figuière is a family house that is therefore part of a long-term history and a transmission process that places the human at the heart of its ethics. The family means here in the broad sense, that of heart which shares the same values, the same love of their profession, their soil and the vine. Magali, Delphine and François have succeeded their father Alain at the head of the estate and proudly perpetuate his pioneering spirit. Between heritage and innovation, Figuière is a house of tradition and craftsmanship that intends to cultivate with audacity and creativity, strong new winemaking techniques, a heritage still alive.
