Minuty Prestige Rosé - Côtes de Provence 2017
Since 1930, Gabriel Farnet has fully replanted the estate and restored all its splendor to the Château Minuty, built under Napoleon III, as the small chapel that will give its name to the cuvée of the Oratory, long remained the emblematic bottle of the estate. The palaces of the Côte d'Azur still boast Burgundy bottles. In 1955, Château Minuty is one of 23 properties to be distinguished as Cru Classé des Côtes de Provence. From 1960, Monique Farnet, daughter of Gabriel, and her husband Etienne Matton, long time president of the classified growths, replanted the traditional Provençal grape varieties (tibouren, rolle, grenache), limited the yields by seeking a high quality of vinification. Thanks to this rigorous work in the vineyards, they have seated the reputation of Château Minuty on the biggest tables of the Côte d'Azur. Today, Jean-Etienne and François Matton have taken over and continue to advance Minuty. They have signed their name by restructuring the vineyard - replacing carignan and Ugni blanc with grenache and rolle - and by equipping themselves with a modern and efficient tool while opening more to the outside. through a global presence on the best tables. By developing the reception of visitors on the spot, Jean-Etienne and François Matton work daily for the radiation of Minuty. An important project of rehabilitation of the vault has been completed.
