The 2020 Haut-Médoc Giscours, which comes from vines towards Cantemerle, has a crisp graphite-tinged bouquet that leans towards Cabernet Sauvignon even though it is half the blend. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip. This feels quite compact, but balanced, classic in style with an off-dry, marine-tinged finish. This should drink well for several years.
