Chateau Pey La Tour Reserve - Bordeaux Superior - 2013
Restricted by the freshness, the flower started late in the Château Pey La Tour, and the late June rain on the Merlot, largely the majority, induced coulure and millerandage, prematurely affecting the volume of harvest. The hot, dry summer saw ripening start late, under good conditions. Thanks to perfect control of the vineyard - health status, control of vigor, sorting of heterogeneous clusters before the harvest - the situation in September is stabilized. The harvest began on 2 October, the return of unstable weather upsetting the forecast. However, good sanitary condition at the vineyard, and a daily adaptation of the harvesting plans made it possible to collect quickly and in good sanitary conditions.
