The 2015 Dauzac is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot, the highest percentage of the former in recent years, and matured in 60% new oak barrels. It has a tightly wound but precise bouquet with scents of blackberry cassis and a hint of violet - very polished and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, pure black fruit laced with graphite and spice, gently building in the mouth, finishing with a precise and quite sustained, Pauillac-inspired grace. This is an excellent wine from the estate that will give 20-25 years of drinking pleasure.

Svelte et profond, grande intensité, velours et caractère de cabernet (72 %) très racé. Une révolution. Réussite unanimement appréciée sur place. Beaucoup de style et de noblesse aromatique et longue persistance. Grand vin, au plus haut niveau des cinquièmes crus, à prix probablement raisonnable. On suivra évidemment l’évolution en bouteille. La rigueur de la sélection et la discipline dans les vignes sont toujours gagnantes.

The 2015 Dauzac offers terrific immediacy and plenty of up-front appeal. Black cherry, tobacco, mocha, new oak, spice, leather and grilled herbs give the Dauzac lovely shades of darkness and overall complexity. Today, the oak is a bit pronounced, but the wine appears to have more than enough density to balance things out.

Ma meilleure note donnée à ce cru en primeur à égalité avec le 2010.
Souvent un peu léger, le vin gagne cette année de l'ampleur tout en gardant un port gracieux, un toucher
de bouche minutieux, avec du goût et de la présence en finale sans angle. C'est bon ! Depuis 2014, le
cru s'est équipé de petites cuves. Le 2015 est le millésime avec le plus fort pourcentage de cabernet
sauvignon. Assemblage : 72 % cabernet sauvignon, 28 % merlot. Degré d'alcool : 13,5° -Sélection : 48
% du volume.

Barrel Sample. This is a powerful wine, dominated by dusty tannins that bring a dry core to the solid structure. With fine acidity and a solid fruit core, the wine will develop nicely. 93 points

Sattes Purpur-Granat, dicht in der Mitte, lila Schimmer aussen. Sanft kühl wirkendes floral-fruchtiges Bouquet. Zeigt beim zweiten Ansatz eine wunderschöne Würze. Im Gaumen mit besonders viel kirschiger Frucht im mitteldicken Extrakt aufwartend. Er hat Kraft und zeigt Rückhalt. Da liegt vielleicht noch in Punkt mehr drin in seiner Reife. 17/20 2022 – 2039
