Plot 181 - Champagne Organic - Canard Duchêne
Canard-Duchêne innovates with the launch of an organic extra-raw cuvee. This declination comes from the 12 hectares of vineyards certified AB on which works the house champenoise. It bears the name of Parcel 181, relating to the seven organic hectares that Thienot Bordeaux-Champagne owns under the name cadastral ZE181. Canard-Duchêne combines unique origins, history and style. The house is located since 1868 in Ludes, in the Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, nobility of Champagne. Its founders, Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, figures of the Champagne terroir, were recognized by the Imperial House of Russia worthy to display its coat of arms. The crowned two-headed eagle, the emblem of the Imperial Russian family, thus adorns all the labels of the Canard-Duchêne brand since the end of the 19th century. Between originality and authenticity, its champagnes mingle fruit, intensity and freshness.
