Fine Amber in carafe - Sylva Plana Abbey - Fine du Languedoc
Originating from the Faugères wines, Fine Faugères is the first regulated water of Languedoc and above all the only distilled by a Charentais alembic, known as "à repasse". This distillation process is interesting because it gives round, very pleasant and more complex fines. This eau-de-vie, put back into production since the 2000 vintage, is the direct legacy of a long tradition of distilling Faugères wines. Indeed since the beginning of the last century, the Fine Faugères experienced a commercial boom of such importance that the name VDQS of dry wines bore the same name to take advantage of this aura.
