Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Clos Puy Arnaud gives crushed black plums and blackberries aromas with suggestions of chargrill, tar and anise. The palate is medium-bodied and a little tart, with a chewy frame and fruit that verges on lean, finishing a little short.
