Château Teyssier - Mountain Saint Emilion - 2008
The vineyard has developed little since 1920: it already covered about forty hectares when the great-grandfather Durand-Teyssier took over. The three successive generations re-adapted the grape varieties and rootstocks to the nature of each plot: 12 hectares were replanted between 1993 and 2003. At the same time, a careful viticulture was put in place to improve the quality of the grapes: Modification of the trellising of the vines to increase the leaf area, leaf removal, application of reasonable protection throughout the vineyard.
