Vivid gold-tinged straw. Fresh aromas of gooseberry, melon and green fig, with hints of ginger and lime oil in the background. Bright and nicely balanced, showing an enticing chewy texture to the honeydew, green fig and herb flavors. Leaves behind a refreshing note of passion fruit on the lingering, bright finish. This Pavillon Blanc offers a rare combination of creaminess and freshness and strikes me as one of the more successful versions in recent memory.

This is very lively and intense, with wonderful energy and brightness. Full body with wonderful finesse. It goes on for minutes. What an amazing finish. It shows dried mangoes, lemons, apples and pineapples, but so lively and fresh. Fresh honey. Such energy. As always 100 percent sauvignon blanc, and amazing. Best ever. Get it. Drink or hold.

From 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this is packed with fresh lemon, hazelnuts, flowers, grapefruit and citrus. Fresh, rich, balanced, sweet and clean, the wine finishes with a long, citrus-filled finish. Very balanced and clean. This will be bottled in June. 93-94 Pts

The Pavillon Blanc has a very lifted, very pure bouquet with lovely scents of dried pineapple, vanilla, white peach and honeysuckle...nigh irresistible. The palate is medium-bodied with great fruit intensity on the entry: yellow plum, vanilla, custard creams and a touch of guava wrapped up in crisp acidity from start to finish. It is very harmonious towards the finish. Superb. Tasted April 2012

Beautiful flavour of star fruits, mangosteen and sweet, ripe peaches. This delicately layered wine is very precise, focused and intense without being heavy. The layers of fruit is lifted by firm acidity and a moderate alcohol level of 13.4%. This charming wine has a deceptively long length and fine line running through it, showing that it will age beautifully.

Blazingly pure, with gorgeous honeysuckle, heather, green almond, green plum and verbena notes backed by a long, macadamia nut–tinged finish. There's both tension and creaminess at the same time, delivering a beautiful expression of fruit and minerality. Despite sharing the label with the second wine of the red, this is grand vin white. Tasted non-blind.—J.M.
