The Girolate 2015 Blanc felt a little too simple on the nose compared to its peers. The palate is rounded on the entry with a light Muscat tinge and a crisp line of acidity with a rounded, lightly honeyed, praline-tinged finish. I was hoping for a little more in bottle, but it will still give 4 or 5 years of drinking pleasure. Anticipated maturity: 2018 - 2022.

A layered and delicious white with apples, dried pineapple and lemons. Full body, lots of fruit and a fresh finish. Semillon and sauvignon blanc. Drink now.

The 2015 Girolate Blanc has a taut, chalky, malic bouquet that will clearly need time in bottle. The palate is nicely balanced with lime, green apple and peppery notes, the acidity quite noticeable, but with fine tension on the finish. This will offer several years drinking pleasure. Drink 2018-2026
