The Chateau Couhins 2016 Blanc has a perfumed white peach and nectarine scented bouquet that is very pretty. The palate is quite sweet on the entry with candied orange peel, apricot and light peachy aromas. It might lack tension on the finish, but I appreciate the balance here. It will be drinking as soon as it is bottled.

Couleur pâle. Nez fruité, pur et vif. Notes de pêche et de poire. Vin délicieux et plus suave (moins vif) que de coutume. Finale parfumée, puissance moyenne.

Sweet nose and a strong green streak. Lots of life and vivacity. Solid and well balanced. A good effort. Dry and with lots of green acidity but no extraneous elements. Impressive length. Drink 2019-2024
