The Tannery - 2017 - IGP Cité de Carcassonne
In full swing in the 19th century, the tannery is a workshop where leather is made. Around 1880, the great textile period that marked the life of Carcassonnaise is over but some industries related to it remained longer, among them, the work of leather. The so-called "tannery" plot, from which the grapes of this vintage are extracted, is contiguous to an old tannery. A place full of history that has seen our grapes ripen for generations.
