Château Teyssier Magnum Box - Saint Emilion Mountain - 2014
The vineyard has grown little since 1920: it already covered forty hectares when the great-grandfather Durand-Teyssier took over. The three generations that followed succeeded in adapting grape varieties and rootstocks to the nature of each plot: 12 hectares were replanted between 1993 and 2003. At the same time, a careful viticulture was set up to improve the quality of the grapes: modification of the trellising of the vines to increase the leaf surface, stripping, application of a reasoned protection on all the vineyard.
